About the institution
Eagle's Nest Christian Academy is an international Christ-centered institution offering the Cambridge curriculum at its primary campus in Area 43 and secondary campus at NRC, Lilongwe. The school uses education as a discipleship tool.
Role overview
This is a dual-function role combining general office administration with financial management responsibilities. The successful candidate will support the school's day-to-day operations and maintain accurate financial records and will report to the administrator and the principal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collecting and recording school fees and issuing receipts
- Maintaining financial ledgers, petty cash, and bank reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports and supporting audits
- Managing procurement, invoices, and supplier payments
- Handling general office administration, correspondence, and filing
- Maintaining student and staff records and databases
- Supporting the school leadership with administrative tasks
Minimum qualifications
- Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, financial administration, or a bursar role is an added advantage
- Computer literate. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Competence in internet research and database management
