About
The Home-Based Program Implementer (HBPI) is responsible for implementing home-based program activities at household level. He/she works directly with children, caregivers and families to ensure effective delivery of program interventions that promote child development, protection and well-being.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and maintains a Christ-like attitude in all interactions.
- Implements home-based program activities in line with approved plans and curriculum.
- Conducts regular home visits to monitor child well-being and support caregivers.
- Ensures child protection and reports any abuse or neglect.
- Supports caregivers with parenting, health, nutrition and education guidance.
- Facilitates communication between beneficiaries and sponsors.
- Maintains accurate beneficiary records and submits reports.
- Participates in trainings and community engagement.
- Performs other duties assigned by the PO.
Qualifications
- Must be a mature born-again Christian.
- Minimum: Diploma in Social Work, Community Development, Education or related field.
- Experience with children and communities is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills are an added advantage.
- Passion for working with children and families.
- Age range: 21–40 years.
Working Conditions
The HBPI will work within the community and conduct regular household visits. Travel within the project area is expected. Must adhere to child protection policies at all times.
