Job Summary  

We are looking for dedicated and professional driver aged between 30 and 45 years to join our reputable company.

 

Driver (1 Post)

Location: Lilongwe

Reporting Line:  Head Driver

 

Key Responsibility

• Safely transport goods to designated locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper care of the vehicle at all times.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in good condition through regular checks and servicing.
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage and maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tyres, brakes) before and after trips.
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, faults or incidents promptly.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently.
• Ensure timely deliveries adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.

 

Qualifications and Skills

• Malawi School Certificate of Education or equivalent.
• Valid category driver’s license.
• 5 years’ experience in the same field.
• Strong defensive driving license.
• Clean driving records with no violations.
• Professionalism, punctuality and strong time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and under pressure.
• High level of responsibility and reliability.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
