BACKGROUND

Chain Logistics is actively seeking applications from suitably qualified, highly motivated, and experienced individuals to fill the pivotal role of Payroll Assistant.

JOB PURPOSE

The Payroll Assistant will provide essential support to the HR Officer in the meticulous and punctual processing of monthly payroll, maintaining employee records, managing statutory deductions, and performing related administrative duties. This position is crucial for ensuring all payroll operations adhere strictly to Chain Logistics’ policies and all relevant legal mandates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather and meticulously verify timesheets, attendance records, and overtime reports.
• Contribute to the processing of monthly salaries, allowances, and statutory deductions, ensuring their timely remittance.
• Maintain and systematically update all employee payroll records, encompassing new hires, terminations, and any adjustments to salary or benefits.
• Assist in the prompt resolution of payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries effectively.
• Prepare and generate comprehensive payroll reports for the HR Officer and the Finance team

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Possession of a Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
• Proficiency in utilizing payroll software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
• A solid understanding of statutory deductions and current labor laws.
• Exceptional accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
