Position Details

Project Overview

The Co-operative Development Foundation of Canada (CDF Canada) is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and enhancing livelihoods globally by supporting co-operative businesses and financial institutions. CDF Canada strengthens co-operatives in developing nations through technical assistance, funding, and training, empowering communities via sustainable economic development.

CDF Canada is currently executing the Integrating Aquaculture-Agriculture to Combat Food Insecurity in Malawi (IAAM) Project. This initiative aims to boost the productivity, income, and market access for small-scale food producers, with a particular focus on women, engaged in integrated aquaculture-agriculture systems (IAAS) across eight districts in Malawi. The system encompasses fish, crops, livestock, and agroforestry sub-systems.

Internship Objective

This internship is designed to bolster the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) capabilities of the IAAM Project. Concurrently, it offers practical experience and professional growth opportunities for an emerging professional aspiring to a career in M&E within the development and humanitarian sectors.

Supervision and Support

The intern will operate under the direct supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist. Continuous mentorship, on-the-job training, technical guidance, and regular performance feedback will be provided throughout the internship.
