Elicee - Account Executive (Sales – ICT Focus)
Elicee is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Executive to join their team, focusing on sales within the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. This full-time position is based in Lilongwe, with a hybrid working arrangement (60% remote).
This role supports a software development client and requires a sales professional with a strong ICT background. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital solutions and be adept at engaging businesses across Malawi. The primary objective is to acquire new clients and manage their integration into the client's services, transitioning prospects from initial interest to active customer status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across diverse sectors, including Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), large corporations, NGOs, and government entities.
- Proactively generate leads and successfully convert them into paying clients for software development services.
- Oversee the complete onboarding process for all new clients.
- Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships to foster repeat business and generate referrals.
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations that address specific client needs.
- Consistently achieve and surpass established sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possession of a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of sales and marketing experience, ideally within the ICT, telecommunications, or technology services industry.
- A solid understanding of software, mobile applications, or other digital solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously in a hybrid environment.
- Must reside in Lilongwe.
