POSITION: DATA ENTRY CLERK

Location: Blantyre, Malawi

OVERVIEW

ETG Agri Inputs Ltd Malawi, a premier provider of agricultural inputs such as fertilisers, seeds, crop protection products, farm tools, and agronomy expertise, is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and performance-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join their Blantyre operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Input and update information into company systems and databases with precision.


• Record details related to sales, inventory, procurement, logistics, and other operational activities.


• Confirm the accuracy and completeness of data before submission.


• Manage and maintain both digital and physical records.


• Generate regular data reports and summaries.


• Identify and rectify any errors found in data entry.


• Provide document processing and data management support to various departments.


• Uphold the confidentiality of company and customer information.


• Assist with tasks such as filing, scanning, and printing, alongside other administrative duties.


• Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possession of any recognized tertiary certificate.


• A minimum of 1 year's experience in data entry or a related administrative role.


• Proficiency in typing and data entry, demonstrating a high degree of accuracy.


• Competence in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other standard office software.


• Exceptional attention to detail.


• Strong organisational capabilities and effective time management.


• Ability to perform well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


• Prior experience within the agriculture, logistics, warehousing, sales, or FMCG sectors is advantageous.
