Workforce Recruitment Services seeks to recruit for the following position on behalf of Saint Sebastian International School. The school is seeking for qualified, passionate and committed Assistant Primary School Teacher to join their team for the 2026/2027 academic year. The successful candidate must be ready to report for duties on 26 August 2026 for orientation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning in line with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.
• Support the development of learners' language and communication, digital literacy, creativity and artistic expression.
• Prepare engaging learning activities, lesson resources and assessments.
• Support learners with different abilities and learning needs.
• Assist with effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Monitor learners' progress and provide appropriate support and feedback.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents and school management.
• Participate in school activities and professional development.

Performance Expectations

• A relevant degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Ability to support learning across language and communication, digital skills, and creative/artistic activities.
• Good communication, classroom management and ICT skills.
• Previous experience working in a primary school with proven track record of teaching computer will be an added advantage.
• Must be registered with the Teachers Council of Malawi (TCM).
• Strictly Cambridge Curriculum experience is required.
• Experience with Cambridge Primary Checkpoint will be an added advantage.
