Job Summary
A logistics company is looking for dedicated and professional Chauffeur and Security Guards aged between 30 and 45 years to join its operations.
1. Chauffeur (1 Post)
Location: Lilongwe
Reporting Line: Head Driver
Key Responsibility
- Safely transporting clients to designated locations.
- Maintaining high level of customer service including greeting clients and helping with luggage.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper care of the vehicle at all times.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in good condition through regular checks and servicing.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage and maintenance.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tyres, brakes) before and after trips.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, faults or incidents promptly.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion regarding VIP passengers while ensuring their safety.
- Arriving early for all pick ups to guarantee timely service.
Qualifications and Skills
- Malawi School Certificate of Education or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- A chauffeur driver certificate plus defensive.
- Perfect appearance (always smart) and professional.
- 3 years’ experience in the same field.
- Clean driving records and superior driving skills.
- Professionalism, punctuality and strong time management skills.
- Ability to work long, irregular hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- High level of responsibility and reliability.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns and venues.
2. Security Guards (2 Posts)
Location: Lilongwe
Reporting Line: Head of Security
Key Responsibilities
- Protect assets, properties and life of personnel from theft and damage.
- Monitoring and patrolling around the premises.
- Access control of visitors and vehicles.
- Respond promptly to alarms, fires, disturbances, medical emergencies or natural disasters.
- Maintain regular inspections of buildings, windows, doors, gates and equipment’s to ensure safety.
- Report any suspicious activities.
Qualification and Skills
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent
- Physically fit and able to work in shifts including nights and weekends.
- No criminal record.
- Previous security experience is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- High level of integrity, alertness and attention to detail.
