Finance Assistant

Word Alive Ministries International through its Commission for Relief and Development (WACRAD) Invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced persons and with passion and a sense of calling to fill the following vacant position;

Title of post: Finance Assistant
Grade: SS1
Duration of Contract: 3 years
Location: Bangula – Nsanje

Qualifications

• Certificate in Accounting, Finance or any related field
• At least 1-year experience handling cash and documentation.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and filing systems.
• Experience in working with Faith Based Organisations an added advantage.

Personal Attributes

• Dedicated Christian of sound standing in their local church
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chichewa.
• Proven record of integrity and accountability:
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
• Personal maturity, sensitivity to gender and cultural issues
• Self-starter and team player

Remuneration

Remuneration in line with the Church’s Salary Structure will be offered to the successful candidate.
