HOSPITAL ATTENDANT

About

Illovo Sugar (Malawi) plc is seeking a Hospital Attendant to provide general hospital support services that enable effective patient care and smooth clinic operations. The successful candidate will assist with patient movement, ward support, cleaning coordination and transportation of specimens, documents and supplies.

Key Duties

• Provide general hospital support services that enable effective patient care.
• Assist with patient movement, ward support, cleaning coordination and movement of supplies.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, orderly and patient-friendly healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• MSCE or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in hospital support, patient care support, cleaning, ward assistance or healthcare services.
• Basic understanding of hygiene, infection prevention, waste handling and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual duties.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
