Emmanuel International Malawi (EIM), a faith-based organization established in 1987, is dedicated to supporting rural communities across Malawi. EIM focuses on a range of critical areas including improving adherence, reducing stigma, and providing Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) information to children living with HIV through Teen Clubs. They also work towards enhancing food security, economic development, community-based healthcare, nutrition, and emergency relief. Furthermore, EIM champions improved access to safe water and sanitation, alongside cross-cutting development issues such as gender and environmental management. Applications are currently being accepted for an immediate opening within the Teen Club project, based in Zomba.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support during Teen Club sessions.
• Assist in adolescent follow-up initiatives.
• Contribute to documentation and reporting processes.
• Engage caregivers at health facilities.
• Support health workers during Teen Club activities.
• Help reconcile funds after activity completion.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Demonstrated passion for working with adolescents and young people.
• Knowledge in HIV/AIDS, adolescent health, psychosocial support, or community development is advantageous.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with communities and health facility staff.
• Proficiency in basic report writing and documentation.
• Fluent in both Chichewa and English.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, and email) is a plus.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Willingness to work within Zomba District and travel to supported health facilities.

A degree in community development, social work, education, nursing, or a related field is preferred.
