SACCO Supervisor

POLYMED SACCO, a financial cooperative licensed and regulated by the Reserve Bank of Malawi and affiliated with MUSCCO, is inviting applications from suitably qualified members to fill one vacant position for a Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must have been a POLYMED SACCO member for at least three years and saved not less than K600,000 in shares.
• Must possess a minimum of a Diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field, such as Administration, Sales and Marketing, Accounting, Bookkeeping, Auditing or Information Technology. A degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
• Must not have been convicted of any criminal offence by a court of law.
• Willingness to serve voluntarily in accordance with SACCO principles.
• Ability to attend SACCO meetings regularly.
• Good public speaking and communication skills.
• Must be up to date with personal loan repayments.
• Good knowledge of the Financial Cooperatives Act, SACCO by-laws, policies and operational procedures.
• Sound understanding of financial accounts and current affairs.
