PCB Design and Fabrication Engineer

Rwanda Engineering and Manufacturing Corporation Limited (REMCO Ltd) is seeking an innovative PCB Design and Fabrication Engineer to develop high-quality layouts and define manufacturing processes that ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness. This role requires expertise in multilayer designs and a thorough understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testing (DFT). If you are a CAD expert with an analytical approach, you will excel at transforming complex electronic concepts into physical circuit boards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.


• A minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in PCB design and manufacturing.


• High proficiency in CAD software such as Altium Designer, KiCAD, or Eagle.


• Strong knowledge of DFM and DFT principles.


• Analytical mindset with experience in failure analysis and design improvement.

Responsibilities

• Create complex, multilayer PCB designs using professional CAD software.


• Define fabrication parameters and establish testing standards for production.


• Coordinate with suppliers to manage PCB production and quality control.


• Analyze board failures to enhance the manufacturability and reliability of designs.


• Optimize PCB layouts for signal integrity and thermal management.
