Connect Outsourcing is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager for a senior opportunity within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Malawi. This is an opportunity for a qualified pharmaceutical QA professional with strong experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, cGMP, regulatory compliance and pharmaceutical quality systems. International applications welcome. We are actively considering suitably qualified candidates from Zimbabwe, across Africa and internationally. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate relevant pharmaceutical industry experience and a strong understanding of quality and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the Quality Management System
• Handle deviations and CAPA
• Oversee batch releases
• Maintain audit and inspection readiness
• Manage change control processes
• Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Provide senior management with technical guidance on quality-related matters

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or another relevant scientific filed
• Advanced qualification in Quality Management or Regulatory Affairs is preferred
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar pharmaceutical role
• Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, analytical laboratory or pharmaceutical regulatory compliance
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and pharmaceutical regulations
• Strong pharmaceutical manufacturing industry experience
• Strong audit, documentation, leadership and communication experience
