Teaching Opportunities at Eagle’s Nest Christian Academy

Primary Section Vacancies

Position 1: French Teacher (1 Opening)

Required Qualifications: A Diploma or Degree in Education, or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution. The successful candidate must also be proficient in teaching two additional subjects and Physical Education.

Position 2: Grades 4-7 Primary School Teacher (Internship, 1 Opening)

Required Qualifications: A Diploma or Degree in Education, or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.

Note: This intern position requires demonstrated competency in teaching Mathematics, Science, and English.

High School Section Vacancy

Position: Secondary School Language & Humanities Teacher (Internship, Ladies Only)

Required Qualifications: A Diploma or Degree in Education, or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.

Specialization Options: Candidates should specialize in one of the following subject combinations:

• French / History and Geography


• English / French and History


• English / History and Geography

Important: Applicants must be prepared to undertake hostel duties at the girls’ boarding facility.

General Requirements for All Positions:

• A committed, practicing "Born Again" Christian with a serious approach to faith.


• Excellent command of spoken and written English, including accurate pronunciation.


• A dynamic, creative, and passionate individual with a clear understanding of teaching as a calling.


• Proficiency in computer applications.

Eagle’s Nest Christian Academy is a rapidly expanding, Christ-centered international institution situated in Area 43 (Primary Section) and NRC (High School) in Lilongwe. We follow the Cambridge curriculum and utilize education as a tool for discipleship.
