About

The Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) is a teaching, research and entrepreneurial university specialising in Business and Applied Sciences. The University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Management Development Centre (MDC) Manager.

Key Duties

• Develop, review, implement and monitor policies, plans, programmes, strategies, guidelines and budgets for the Centre.
• Monitor and maintain standards for the Centre’s activities.
• Initiate and undertake research projects, consultancies, outreach programmes and tracer studies.
• Raise the Centre’s international academic profile in line with the University’s Internationalisation Strategy.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with Government, the public and private sectors, development partners and the international community.
• Represent the Centre at various forums.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Doctorate Degree in a relevant field from an institution accredited or recognised under the National Council for Higher Education Act.
• At least five (5) years of experience in a management position in a higher education institution.
• Must be conversant with consultancy and management development.
