St. Andrews CCAP Mission Secondary Schools invite suitably qualified, committed, and God-fearing individuals to apply for plumbing positions across its campuses. These positions are critical to ensuring the successful operation of the Boys’ school, as well as the Girls’ school.

Key Duties

• Install, repair and maintain water supply, drainage, and sewerage systems throughout the schools
• Repair leaking pipes, taps, toilets, sinks, showers, urinals and other plumbing fixtures.
• Clear blocked drains, sewer lines and waste disposal facilities.
• Estimate and prepare lists of plumbing materials and spare parts required for maintenance work.
• Keep records of maintenance work completed and materials used
• Observe safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Perform any other duty assigned by the Head teacher or school Administrator.

Qualifications

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and Certificate in plumbing and pipe fitting from recognized institution with at least 2 years’ practical experience.
