Operations Manager

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Operations Manager will be instrumental in guiding the daily operations across all TCF branches and service points. This role is dedicated to ensuring the seamless delivery of services, driving operational excellence, and upholding strict adherence to company policies and procedures. Key duties encompass supporting core business operations, strategically allocating resources, fortifying internal controls, guaranteeing the smooth functioning of all systems, and effectively managing risk and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise branch operations, ensuring unwavering compliance with established procedures and controls.
• Champion the implementation of robust safeguards to prevent fraud and mitigate operational risks.
• Ensure the punctual submission of all operational and management reports.
• Continuously monitor branch cash flow, loan processing timelines, collection rates, and service turnaround times.
• Collaborate closely with IT and systems teams to maintain reliable and secure operational systems.
• Proactively follow up on audit findings and regulatory inquiries, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
• Support performance management initiatives and provide effective staff supervision across all branches.

Candidate Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related discipline is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operations management within the financial services industry is required.
• Demonstrated strength in communication, leadership, coaching, and mentorship is a prerequisite.
• Proficiency in essential software applications including MS Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
• A high degree of professionalism and an unwavering commitment to ethical standards are mandatory.
