Nkhamenya Community Hospital is a Catholic Health Facility of Mzuzu Diocese. It operates under the Health Commission of the Diocese whose mandate is to ensure that the services that the Catholic Church provides in the Diocese are accessible to the rural masses and the quality of care being provided is line with the professional standards and in the footsteps of Jesus Christ the founder of the healing ministry.

In its efforts of ensuring provision of quality health services, the hospital would like to recruit the following position:

3 NURSES MIDWIFERY TECHNICIANS INTERNEES WITH COLLEGE DIPLOMAS

Key Duties

• Accompanying and assisting Doctors, Clinicians during ward rounds and clinics and procedures.
• Providing total patient care to chronically ill patients using the nursing process.
• Duly documenting and compiling daily reports for patients and any other data that may be required from time to time.
• Examining, assessing antenatal mothers / patients.
• Attending to mothers during delivery at the labor ward.
• Preparing health tips and talks to patients, clients and guardians.
• Carrying out mobile and static clinics on the designated days.

Qualifications

• Be a practicing Christian
• Should have at least 2 years’ experience on the post being applied for
• Should have a traceable record
• Should possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Successful candidates for the posts of Senior Assistant Human Resources Management, Hospital Driver and Hospital Attendant will be on 3 years’ contract which will be renewable depending on the performance while Clinical and Nursing Technician internees, will be on 1-year contract non renewable
