KITCHEN MANAGER

NES is seeking a qualified and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead its school kitchen and food services. The successful candidate must be a professional chef with strong management skills and experience delivering food at a global standard.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen operations and food production

  • Ensure meals meet international quality, hygiene, and safety standards

  • Prepare and plan menus including local and international cuisine

  • Manage, supervise, and train school cooks to meet global standards

  • Ensure efficient preparation of meals for large groups

  • Manage inventory, suppliers, food costs, and kitchen equipment

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized culinary school

  • Certified chef by profession

  • Proven kitchen management and leadership experience

  • Previous experience in the tourism industry (hotels, lodges, resorts, etc.)

  • Ability to prepare both foreign and local dishes

  • Proven experience cooking for large groups
