NES is seeking a qualified and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead its school kitchen and food services. The successful candidate must be a professional chef with strong management skills and experience delivering food at a global standard.
Oversee all kitchen operations and food production
Ensure meals meet international quality, hygiene, and safety standards
Prepare and plan menus including local and international cuisine
Manage, supervise, and train school cooks to meet global standards
Ensure efficient preparation of meals for large groups
Manage inventory, suppliers, food costs, and kitchen equipment
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Degree or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized culinary school
Certified chef by profession
Proven kitchen management and leadership experience
Previous experience in the tourism industry (hotels, lodges, resorts, etc.)
Ability to prepare both foreign and local dishes
Proven experience cooking for large groups
