About
ESCOM Ltd is seeking a NOC Technician to monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime for ESCOM's network systems and telecommunications.
Key Duties
- Continuously monitor network performance using specialized tools.
- Identify and respond to alerts, anomalies, and incidents in real-time.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including connectivity and hardware/software malfunctions.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or specialized teams.
- Maintain detailed logs of incidents, resolutions, and performance metrics.
- Manage ticketing systems and generate reports on network uptime and trends.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers for network-related issues.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Information Communication Technology.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in ICT, Telecommunications, or Information Systems.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and familiarity with network monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of network hardware and basic understanding of operating systems/server management.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues quickly and efficiently.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
