Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Assistant General Manager to join our team in Blantyre. The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing teams, ensuring quality control in processes, and supporting the General Manager in achieving organizational goals. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-departmental activities, ensuring operational efficiency, managing resources, and contributing to the company's growth and productivity. You will play a key role in executing business strategies and improving our performance standards.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
• Operational management expertise, including planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing or paint industry is an advantage, along with an understanding of production processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in a managerial role.
• Proficiency in problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making to address operational challenges effectively.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on achieving organizational targets and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
