In striving to provide quality services, Gardaworld Malawi urgently seeks to engage the services of suitably experienced and qualified HR Intern for its various offices located in Lilongwe, Blantyre, Nchalo and Dwangwa.
Reporting to the Human Resources Officers, the HR Intern is tasked with ensuring a functional human resource sections that manage high volumes of Human resource records that survive in all areas from international and local record keeping standards. The HR Intern supports all HR functions from recruitment and selection, performance management and is the hub of compliance to Gardaworld standards, policies and processes that are used to manage staff in line with best practices and in line with both international obligations and Malawi legal frameworks requirements.
Assist with recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
Support the maintenance and updating of employee personnel records and HR databases
Assist in preparation of HR reports and documentation
Support induction and orientation of new employees
Assist in leave management, attendance tracking, and filing systems
Support performance management processes including appraisals and reviews
Assist with staff welfare and engagement initiatives
Support disciplinary and grievance processes through documentation and record keeping
Assist with coordination of training and development activities
Perform general HR administrative duties as assigned
Strong organizational and time-management skills
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management
Knowledge and working experience with Malawi Labour laws.
