Human Resources Coordinator



This role involves establishing and managing comprehensive filing systems, drafting and typing professional correspondence, and efficiently distributing incoming mail. You will be responsible for managing the Human Resources office supply inventory, including ordering and tracking. Key duties also include handling incoming calls, taking accurate messages, and creating new personnel files for incoming employees. You will assist candidates visiting the office with their application processes and ensure the designated application area is consistently clean, well-maintained, and accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. A significant part of this position requires responding to inquiries from employees and management concerning company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines. You will also be expected to promptly inform Human Resources management of any employee relations issues that arise within the division or property, while maintaining the utmost confidentiality and security of all employee and property records.



Adherence to all company policies and procedures is paramount. This includes maintaining a consistently clean and professional personal appearance and uniform, safeguarding proprietary information, and protecting company assets. You must report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions immediately. A welcoming and professional demeanor is essential when interacting with all guests, and you must communicate using clear, professional language, both verbally and in writing. Effective telephone etiquette is required. The role demands fostering positive working relationships, supporting team objectives, and actively listening to and addressing employee concerns. Ensuring quality standards are met and accurately entering and retrieving work-related information using computer systems are also core responsibilities. Physical demands include the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Additional reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

  • Related Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience.

  • Supervisory Experience: No prior supervisory experience required.

  • License or Certification: None specified.
