Telekom Networks Malawi Plc (TNM) is seeking a qualified and experienced Strategic Channels Manager. This permanent role involves leading and managing key national channel outlets, including chain stores and financial institutions, to drive commercial growth across TNM's portfolios.
Job Summary
The Strategic Channels Manager will be responsible for managing strategic channels to achieve commercial objectives in subscriber acquisition, revenue growth, mobile money penetration, Home Broadband (HBB) sales, merchant payments expansion, and overall channel compliance.
Key Duties
- Drive new subscriber acquisitions across all strategic channels.
- Boost monthly recharge value, increase recharge frequency, and uplift ARPU across partner outlets.
- Increase active mobile money wallets, grow float, and enhance cash in/cash out volumes and agent activity rates.
- Deliver HBB sales targets, ensure high installation completion rates, reduce early churn, and improve Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Expand merchant acceptance points, drive growth in monthly transactions and Gross Merchant Volume (GMV).
- Ensure adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, accuracy of channel data, and address audit findings.
- Maintain high availability, visibility, planogram compliance, and strong promoter productivity.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in channel management, key account management, or distribution within Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), telecom, or fintech sectors.
- Demonstrated success in managing national retail chains and/or financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of mobile money, payment acceptance, and broadband sales, coupled with advanced Excel/Business Intelligence data analysis capabilities and strong financial acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. An MBA is considered an added advantage.
