UNOPS is seeking an ICT Associate with a focus on Quality Assurance to join its Information and Communications Technology Group (ITG). This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of critical financial and IT systems, particularly within the Process Innovation and Digitalization (PID) Programme. Reporting to the QA Team Lead, the ICT Associate - Quality Assurance will be responsible for executing comprehensive testing strategies throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes testing requirements during development and validating functionality before production deployment. The role requires effective communication with business stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams. The ideal candidate will be adept at quickly learning complex applications, committed to continuous learning in QA and technology, and possess strong skills in work effort estimation, commitment management, and multitasking. A keen interest in utilizing AI tools to improve testing efficiency and quality is highly valued.
This is a project-funded position with an expected end date of December 2029. The role is home-based, but the incumbent must ensure a reasonable overlap with Bangkok (UTC+7) business hours for collaboration with the QA team and supervisor. Stable, high-speed internet access is essential due to the continuous use of enterprise financial systems, cloud-based environments, and AI-assisted QA tools.
