Non-Key Expert: Quality Assurance & Accreditation Specialist (Senior)
NTU International A/S, a leader in implementing the EU-funded Higher Education System Strengthening Project II in Somalia, seeks an experienced Quality Assurance & Accreditation Specialist to bolster its core team.
The primary aim of this role is to enhance the Somali higher education sector's capacity for improved coordination, regulation, and sustained development.
Location: Mogadishu, Somalia
Contract Duration: 36 months, commencing 1st October 2026
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- Advanced degree (Master's or higher) in Education, Quality Assurance, Institutional Management, or a related discipline.
- Completed formal training in quality assurance frameworks and accreditation standards.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Somali is a significant advantage.
Specific Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in higher education quality assurance and accreditation, including the development and deployment of national QA frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting institutional audits, self-assessments, and external evaluations.
- A proven history of training QA professionals and establishing quality assurance units within academic institutions.
- Familiarity with international and African quality assurance standards and accreditation bodies.
