CareerNova is seeking a skilled freelance IT support professional to assist a client located in Lilongwe, Malawi. This role is compensated in USD, based on a per-ticket or per-hour rate.

Key Role Overview:

The selected candidate will be instrumental in configuring and resolving issues for customer desktop and laptop systems, effectively addressing their technical challenges. This is an on-site position, requiring work within the client's premises in Lilongwe during standard business hours. Remote work is not an option.

Responsibilities Include:


Replicating customer environments to conduct thorough testing.

Proactively managing and efficiently resolving incoming electronic support tickets.

Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and basic network-related technical problems.


Essential Requirements:


Must possess Malawian nationality or have the legal authorization to work in Lilongwe.

A minimum of three years of proven experience in a technical support capacity.

Residence within or proximity to Lilongwe is mandatory.

A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, alongside robust troubleshooting abilities.
