Quality Assurance Manager

Amani Industries Limited is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join our team.

Key Duties

• Raw Material Inspection: Verify expiry dates, batch codes, and supplier documentation. Check for contamination, foreign substances, or decay in raw materials. Inspect packaging integrity of received materials (drums, sacks, cartons, containers).
• Production Support: Collaborate with Wrapping and Packaging Supervisors to ensure sweets are properly wrapped and sealed. Monitor packaging processes to minimize damages and ensure adherence to company standards. Confirm net weights of sweets, packets, and cartons meet requirements.
• Packaging Quality Assurance: Inspect ball gum packaging bottles for conformity to approved size, shape, and design standards. Conduct random sampling of finished goods to verify consistency in packaging quality.
• Health, Safety, and Hygiene Compliance: Ensure sweets are never handled with bare hands during production. Monitor staff compliance with PPE requirements (masks, gloves, protective clothing). Report and address any deviations from hygiene protocols immediately.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions. Prepare periodic quality reports for management review. Assist in audits and compliance checks with regulatory authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
