About Us

The National Organisation of Nurses and Midwives of Malawi (NONM) is a professional, non-governmental organization and trade union representing over 10,000 members and serving as the official voice for over 18,000 nursing/midwifery professionals across all 29 districts of Malawi. NONM is seeking a motivated and proactive Temporary Driver to join its secretariat.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation for staff and authorized visitors across Malawi.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and ensure regular servicing is scheduled and performed.
• Assist with the delivery and collection of official correspondences, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and fuel records, ensuring all trip details are captured for audit purposes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least a Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) or above; Malawi School Certificate of Examination (MSCE) is an added advantage.
• Possession of a valid, clean driving license.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malawian road networks and traffic regulations.
• High level of integrity, punctuality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
