We're a fast-growing events company specialising in décor, styling, and
event experiences. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Event Planner Intern who is
eager to learn and grow in the events industry.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, creative, reliable, and excited about
working behind the scenes and on-site at events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Event Support & Coordination
- Assist with event setup, styling, and breakdown.
- Support lead planners during live events.
- Assist with table scape designs and floral creations.
- Help prepare event checklists, timelines, and packing lists.
- Assist with coordinating décor, logistics, and event materials.
- Provide on-the-day event support to ensure smooth operations and timely execution.
- Assist in resolving minor on-site issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Support event tasks such as mood boarding, designing, and printing.
- Assist with post-event tasks such as inventory checks, reporting, and clean-up.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND TRAITS
Essential Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chichewa.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Basic understanding of sales processes and customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Certificate or Diploma in Administration, Business, Marketing, or a related field (an added
- advantage).
- Experience in hospitality, events, or customer service is a bonus but not required.
