About the Role
ZGC Mining is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for supporting the daily operations of our mining activities, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow. The successful candidate will play a key part in administrative and logistical tasks that underpin our operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing operational schedules and coordinating activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to operations, including inventory and supply chain data.
- Facilitate communication between different departments and external stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support, such as preparing reports, correspondence, and presentations.
- Assist with procurement processes for operational supplies and equipment.
- Monitor operational progress and report any deviations or issues.
- Support the implementation of operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is an advantage.
- Proven experience in an administrative or operational support role, preferably in the mining sector.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with mining operations and safety standards is a plus.
