Position: Operations & Administration Lead

Location: Lilongwe, Malawi
Sparc Systems Limited is seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Operations & Administration Lead to oversee day-to-day hub operations and administrative functions supporting our innovation and entrepreneurship programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage hub operations, logistics, and day-to-day administrative activities.
- Oversee founder stipends, budget tracking, and operational expenditure monitoring.
- Plan, coordinate, and support events, workshops, and program activities.
- Manage documentation, records, and internal operational processes.
- Ensure smooth coordination with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams.
- Support compliance with internal policies and operational procedures.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations or administrative management, preferably within organizations operating in Malawi.
- Proven experience in logistics, procurement, and vendor coordination.
- Experience managing budgets, stipends, and basic financial tracking.
Required Competencies
- Strong operational management experience within Malawian organizations.
- Good understanding of local procurement processes, logistics, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with local labour practices, stipends, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage documentation and reporting using both digital and paper-based systems.
- Practical event coordination and management experience adapted to the local context.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
