Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant/Credit Officer based in Blantyre. The role involves managing credit operations, analyzing financial data and reports, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. Responsibilities include assessing credit risks, collaborating with clients to create custom financial solutions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Credit Management and understanding of credit policies and procedures
• Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data and assessing creditworthiness
• Extensive knowledge of Finance and accounting principles
• Effective Communication skills for engaging with clients and internal teams
• Experience in credit analysis and management systems
• Relevant education such as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Competency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Work experience in a financial institution is an advantage
