About
Hope Ambassadors Youth Group is seeking a dedicated Project Officer for a part-time role focused on youth development and community engagement, particularly in the areas of health and education. The organization aims to empower youth and communities through various programs.
Key Duties
- Lead and coordinate theatre-for-development and youth outreach initiatives.
- Facilitate educational sessions on HIV awareness, sexual and reproductive health (SRH), and relationship education.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to youth ambassadors.
- Enhance the visibility and branding of Mbedza programs across diverse communities and with partner organizations.
- Develop and nurture partnerships with local communities, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A Diploma in Community Health, Theatre for Development, HIV Management, Youth Management, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience within youth or community-focused programs.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of HIV prevention strategies, SRH, and relationship education.
- Proven experience in community mobilisation and effective public engagement.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
