Bridge Action Limited is a development organization focused on stimulating global progress. We are actively seeking qualified individuals to join our team for field-based quantitative and qualitative data collection initiatives across various districts in Malawi.

Key Duties

• Lead and oversee field data collection activities, ensuring adherence to research protocols and quality standards.
• Manage and support data collection teams conducting surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions.
• Guarantee the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and timely data to inform program learning and evidence-based decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with the Bridge Action Field Research Coordinator on all project aspects.
• Efficiently manage field logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and team coordination.
• Undertake extensive travel within assigned districts to supervise operations and provide support.

Qualifications

• A minimum Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related natural resources field.
• At least three years of professional experience in field research, surveys, or data collection management.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising and coordinating field logistics.
• Excellent interviewing and communication skills for effective team and community interaction.
• Strong proficiency with digital data collection platforms such as ODK, Kobo, Commcare, and SurveyCTO.
• Proven experience in ensuring data quality assurance and producing comprehensive field reports.
• Competency in using Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in both English and Chichewa is essential; knowledge of other local district languages is a significant advantage.
