The Merchandiser will be instrumental in upholding superior merchandising standards within modern retail environments. This crucial role ensures consistent product availability, prominent display, effective stock rotation, and the successful implementation of promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure optimal product visibility and maintain shelf presentation excellence in designated retail locations.
- Diligent monitoring of stock quantities, expiration dates, and adherence to stock rotation principles.
- Efficient execution of promotional campaigns and strategic placement of point-of-sale materials.
- Negotiate effectively to secure and maintain optimal shelf space for H. Adam Wholesalers' product portfolio.
- Independently conduct daily merchandising operations with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide daily progress updates and reports via WhatsApp.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with store management and clientele.
Requirements:
- Minimum Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) qualification.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive, organized, and self-sufficient work ethic, capable of independent task management.
- Physical capability for active field work and stock handling.
- Possession of a smartphone for reporting purposes is mandatory.
- Prior experience in the FMCG or retail sector will be considered a valuable asset.
