Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant positions Tenable at Chuluchosema Health Centre and Umodzi Clinic in Zomba District.

 

NURSE MIDWIFE TECHNICIANS (GRADE K) – 7 POSTS

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide nursing care to patients according to Malawi Nursing Council ethics
  • Planning, organizing and implementation of :
  1. Family planning sessions
  2. Ante-Natal and under five Clinic sessions
  3. Monitoring of family health activities both at static outreach clinics
  4. In charge of Maternity ward
  5. Drug administration as ordered by clinical Officer
  6. Ensure patient’s records are updated and properly stored
  7. Report arising matters to the Clinical officer

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Nurse Midwife Technician
  • Diploma in Nursing and Midwife
  • Must be registered with the Medical Council of Malawi
  • Must have good communication and reporting skills
