About the Role
ZGC Mining is seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Officer to manage our main reception area and provide a professional first impression for our company. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations at the front desk and assisting visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as needed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
- Schedule appointments and manage the meeting room calendar.
- Provide administrative support, such as photocopying and scanning.
- Handle general inquiries from clients, visitors, and employees.
- Assist with basic record-keeping and data entry.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Officer, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A professional attitude and appearance.
- Discretion and a high level of confidentiality.
