Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lilongwe for a Business Development Manager. The role involves identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and driving growth through effective business strategies. Key responsibilities also include managing partnerships, overseeing the implementation of new business initiatives, and contributing to the overall strategic development of the academy. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the academy’s objectives for growth, excellence, and professional development are achieved.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in business development, sales, and negotiation
- Experience in a corporate training environment may be an advantage but not a necessity.
- Should possess at least 3 years Business Development experience.
- Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies
- Strong relationship-building, networking, and communication skills
- Strategic planning, project management, and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of the education or training sector is advantageous
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to market trends
- Proficiency in office software and digital tools
