Outple connects exceptional professionals in Malawi with high-quality international businesses. We are recruiting an IT Operations Lead to join a high-performing international B2B services business that supports large enterprise clients.

The client operates in line with enterprise expectations and maintains an ISO-certified environment while working towards SOC 2 readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Own day-to-day internal IT operations and service standards (tickets, maintenance, planned work)

• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (users, groups, licences, roles, access policies)

• Manage device and endpoint lifecycle for Windows and macOS using Intune (enrolment, compliance, patching, encryption)

• Maintain MFA, Conditional Access, and least-privilege practices

• Monitor identity/endpoint security signals and respond to issues proactively

• Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and operational evidence to keep systems audit-ready

• Deliver improvements from an agreed IT roadmap and propose sensible enhancements to leadership

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience in IT administration or systems ownership roles

• Strong Microsoft 365 + Entra ID experience

• Strong Intune experience (Windows/macOS device management and compliance)

• Strong security fundamentals: MFA, access control, patching, encryption, endpoint protection

• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal day-to-day oversight

• Clear communicator (able to explain technical topics in plain English)
