Job Title: Account Manager
Role Summary
Axis Solutions Malawi is looking for a results-driven Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate should have strong sales skills and basic technical knowledge to understand and explain our products or services to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with assigned customer accounts.
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing and potential client accounts.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable products or services.
- Provide basic technical explanations of products and services to clients.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with the technical team to ensure proper product delivery and support.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve client issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Provide regular reports on account performance and sales progress.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer relationship management.
- Basic technical knowledge relevant to the company’s products or services.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Good negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM system.
- Experience in a technical or IT industry is an advantage.
