Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and manage budgets effectively.
- Promote customer growth within the designated area.
- Maximize profitability for the assigned region.
- Ensure optimal control of expense budgets across stores in the area.
- Maintain proper stock management and rigorous stockroom discipline.
- Minimize stock loss within the operational area.
- Ensure all stores in the area consistently adhere to company standards.
- Undertake comprehensive people management duties.
Requirements
- Possess an MSCE or Grade 12 Full Certificate, with mandatory passes in Mathematics and English.
- Hold a Diploma in Marketing, Retailing, or any other Business-related qualification.
- Demonstrate a willingness to travel extensively throughout the country.
- Candidates must be prepared to relocate within Malawi as required.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
- Prior experience in retail is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive internal training will be provided to successful candidates.
- Essential Competencies: Strong managerial aptitude, leadership skills, effective communication, interpersonal proficiency, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, decisive decision-making, capacity to build and maintain healthy business relationships, coaching skills, and resourcefulness.
