Mentors International is dedicated to empowering families and individuals to overcome poverty and achieve self-reliance. Through the Giving Machine initiative, the organization distributes resources like goats and sewing materials to rural farmers and tailors, accompanied by business mentoring. The goal is to foster financial management skills, leading to increased revenues, savings, and reduced debt among participants.

Job Description

The Business Mentor will deliver group and one-on-one training to project participants, playing a vital role in achieving project objectives and promoting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial participant assessments.
• Register participants in the Mentors International database.
• Maintain updated records of all visits.
• Lead initial group mentoring sessions.
• Provide personalized monthly business visits to participants.
• Assist the project coordinator with monthly field report compilation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Community Development, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in customer service, mentoring, or coaching.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in personal or business financial management.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
