Job Summary
As a remote Business Development Representative for Major Projects, you will be crucial in generating and qualifying leads. Your responsibilities include extensive outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn, qualifying inbound leads, and scheduling product demonstrations for the sales team. You will utilize lead generation tools, manage email sequences, and meticulously update information within the CRM system. This position reports directly to the Global Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Become proficient in understanding the construction industry, Evercam's product suite, and the value proposition for customers.
- Learn and apply effective strategies for qualifying marketing-generated inbound leads and conducting thorough discovery calls.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, and Lead Development teams to drive outbound outreach and lead nurturing initiatives.
- Conduct market and account research to identify active and upcoming projects, map key stakeholders, and execute personalized outreach to convert prospects into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
- Perform daily activities including proactive outbound outreach, pre-call research and planning, a high volume of calls/emails/LinkedIn communications, and follow-ups with previous contacts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Zoho CRM.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-2 years of business development or sales experience in a B2B professional environment.
- Prior SDR or BDR experience within the SaaS or Construction industry is preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong phone presence, and fluency in English.
- Proficiency with CRM and email outreach platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in outbound prospecting.
- Ability to thrive both independently and as a collaborative team member.
