Insurance Services Officer – Life and General
Huldah’s Insurance Brokers is actively recruiting for an Insurance Services Officer specializing in Life and General products. This pivotal role supports daily insurance operations, encompassing sales, underwriting assistance, claims handling, policy administration, and client account management for both life and general insurance portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Insurance Sales and Business Development
- Actively market and sell life and general insurance products.
- Cultivate new client relationships and nurture existing ones.
- Prepare accurate quotations and diligently pursue business opportunities.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
Underwriting and Policy Administration
- Efficiently process insurance applications and related documentation.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive client accounts and records.
- Provide crucial support for underwriting activities in adherence to company protocols.
- Manage premium follow-ups, renewals, and policy endorsements.
Claims Management
- Receive and meticulously process incoming insurance claims.
- Guide clients through claims procedures and necessary documentation.
- Monitor claims settlements and maintain accurate records.
Customer Service and Compliance
- Address client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and insurance regulations.
- Generate periodic operational and sales reports.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- An Advanced Diploma or Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of three years' professional experience in life and general insurance operations.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal abilities, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency in computer applications.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English, alongside local languages.
