 Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Developer role located in Lilongwe. As a Junior Developer, you will participate in designing, coding, and debugging software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist in maintaining and updating existing software systems, support code reviews, and document technical processes. The ideal candidate will also perform software testing, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and contribute to innovative technology solutions implemented across diverse projects.

 Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks
• Knowledge of database management and experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug software issues effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus
