Illovo Sugar (Malawi) plc is a prominent producer of raw, refined, and specialty sugars in Malawi, employing over 9,000 individuals. It is a subsidiary of Illovo Sugar Africa Group, which is wholly owned by Associated British Foods plc (ABF).
Key Duties
- Conduct regular patrols to oversee the security contractor's deployment.
- Ensure security posts are manned as required and guards are performing their duties, including patrolling and access control, and responding to incidents.
- Provide real-time security reports on any lapses in deployment or performance directly to the Operations Coordinator to enable a rapid response, ensuring estate security is maintained.
- Engage with security contractor personnel to assess their understanding of their roles and identify operational challenges.
- Report all security incidents to the Operations Coordinator and ensure adherence to protocols.
- Submit detailed security reports to the Operations Coordinator for overall performance assessment of the contractor.
- Promote and adhere to Illovo's procedures, policies, and guidelines, including those relating to SHERQ.
Qualifications
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
- Any related Certificate/Security Experience.
- A Security Diploma will be an added advantage.
