Job Title: Assistant Administration Officer / Dispatch Rider


Department: Administration

Job Purpose:


This role is designed to provide crucial administrative and dispatch support, ensuring the efficient delivery and collection of company documents, correspondence, and materials. The position also entails assisting with debt collection, running company errands, and performing general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible, trustworthy, physically fit, and proficient in safe and professional motorcycle operation.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Execute timely delivery and collection of company documents and correspondence to clients, suppliers, banks, government offices, and other relevant entities.

  • Support the company in following up on outstanding payments and collecting debts from customers and clients.

  • Assist with securing abnormal load permits and managing the renewal of Certificates of Fitness (COF) for various vehicles and equipment.

  • Aid in arranging documentation for insurance claims and managing subsequent follow-ups.

  • Maintain accurate records of all dispatched and collected documents.

  • Operate the company motorcycle safely and efficiently for all official assignments.


Qualifications and Requirements:


Candidates must meet the following criteria:



  • Minimum age of 35 years.

  • Possession of a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).

  • A valid motorcycle riding license.

  • Excellent physical fitness suitable for extended motorcycle operation.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of road networks and locations within the company’s operational areas.

  • Prior experience in dispatch, administration, debt collection, or a similar field is considered a significant advantage.

  • Experience interacting with MRA, government offices, and banks is also beneficial.

  • Thorough understanding of Malawi Road Traffic Procedures.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated trustworthiness, reliability, and responsibility, especially when handling company documents and finances.

  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

  • Punctuality and a strong capacity to meet deadlines.


Note: The scope of duties may extend to other administrative, dispatch, and operational tasks as assigned by management.


A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered, commensurate with the selected candidate's performance.
